The UN Secretary-General Mr. António Guterres sent a congratulatory letter and video message to the event.
The CNMUN lasted for four days, with the participation of more than 400 student delegates, observers and faculty advisors from more than 100 colleges and universities nationwide. UNA-China first launched the CNMUN in 2004, which has become the most authoritative and professional MUN event in China. The event is aimed to publicize and disseminate the knowledge of the UN among the youth, and strengthen capacity building to enable them to have an international perspective and the ability to engage in global governance.
