On October 14, 2024, the Boao Forum for Asia held a seminar on “Reinvigorating the Sustainable Development Goals in the Post Summit of the Future Era”, inviting the visiting UNDP Administrator Mr. Achim Steiner to introduce the outcomes of the UN Summit of the Future and exchange views with all parties. Ms. Hu Wenli, Vice-President and Director-General of the United Nations Association of China, was invited to make remarks. Nearly 20 representatives from the Chinese government, think tanks, civil society, the business sector and representatives of the International Monetary Fund, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the United Nations Development Programme, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the World Food Programme and other international organizations attended the seminar. Participants exchanged views on how to implement the outcomes of the UN Summit of the Future and better promote the sustainable development goals.
