On May 20-21, the 235th Executive Committee (ExCo) Meeting of the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) was held in Geneva, Switzerland. The meeting reviewed and adopted the minutes of the 234th ExCo Meeting, Secretary-General’s report on activities, finance and membership, discussed the challenges facing the United Nations and multilateralism and the development direction of WFUNA. WFUNA Secretary-General, Vice President and Treasurer and the ExCo members from China, Albania, Cuba, Denmark, Georgia, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago and the United States attended the meeting. Ms. Hu Wenli, Vice-President and Director-General of the United Nations Association of China (UNA-China), attended the meeting and put forward constructive suggestions on the work of WFUNA, introduced the recent work of UNA-China, and called on UNAs of all countries to strengthen cooperation and gather forces from civil society to support the United Nations and multilateralism.
