The 22nd East Asian Seminar on the United Nations System held in the Republic of Korea

From 24th to 25th November 2023, the 22nd East Asian Seminar on the United Nations System was held in the Republic of Korea (ROK). Participants discussed East Asian Contribution to Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding in the World, UN’s Approaches to Accelerating the Implementation of SDGs as Scheduled, UN’s Role in the Post-Pandemic Era, and UN’s Contribution to the Three States in their History. Ms. WANG Ying, Deputy Director-General of UNA-China headed a delegation of scholars from China Center for International Knowledge on Development, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Fudan University to the seminar.

The East Asian Seminar on the United Nations System is an annual academic exchange mechanism of UN issues among China, Japan and the ROK, which is held on rotation since 2011. The 23rd East Asian Seminar on the United Nations System will be hosted by Japan next year.
