On October 6th and 7th, the 232nd Executive Committee (ExCo) Meeting of the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) was held in New York. The meeting elected Aziel Goulandris to replace Bonian Golmohammadi as WFUNA Secretary-General, discussed the Secretary-General’s report on activities, finance and membership, and the preparatory work of the 43rd WFUNA Plenary Assembly. The minutes of the 231st ExCo meeting was adopted. WFUNA Secretary-General, Vice-President, Treasurer, and ExCo members from China, the United States, Albania, Cuba, Denmark, Georgia, Norway, Sweden and Trinidad and Tobago attended the meeting.

Ms. Hu Wenli, Vice-President and Director-General of UNA-China attended the meeting, introduced UNA-China’s activities and put forward constructive suggestions about WFUNA’s work.
